How can I register my child?
What are the eligibility criteria for enrolment?
  • Enrolment will be on a first-come-first-serve basis and subject to:
    • Whether the child is of the minimum age requirement for entry into the programme.
    • Availability of vacancy in the child's intended class or age-group
    • Availability of vacancy in the centre
What payments are necessary upon confirmation of enrolment?
  • Registration fee of $10 for Tuition and Enrichment courses or $40 for Playgroup Programme.
  • 1 month deposit of school fees for those paying on per month basis
  • First month's schools fees or term fee for those paying on either term or monthly basis.
What are the charges and what does it include?
  • Refer to branches fee table shown on the home page.
  • School fee inclusive of material fee
Is there any pattern of enrolment?
  • Centre will run  new enrolment when a minimum class size is reached.
  • Usually, the centre starts new classes  on the first month of each new academic year  OR
  • Centre will advise enrolment according to the demand pattern for the particular month.
Is there a trial period?
  • Trial period is  not available for all our courses.
  • Parents are encouraged to see the teacher before the class commences if they have questions to ask.
  • An appointment with the centre management is required to ensure the teacher is available for consultation.
Will there a briefing for new students?
  • Yes, the teacher will pass you to the registration form and brief you on the rules and regulations.
Does the centre make up the classes  when the child is sick or when he/she is on vacation?
  • No. The centre's fees are still payable when the child is absent as the child's name is maintained in the class register and a place is reserved for the child until he returns.
  • The centre's fees are still payable when the child is on self-declared holiday during the June and December holidays.
  • Payment of fees is discontinued only after child has withdrawn from the centre
Is there a charge if parents pick their child up late?
  • No.
If I wish to withdraw my child after making payments, will there be a refund?
  • There are no refund for Tuition and Enrichment Courses.
  • For withdrawal for those paying with deposit, parent will have to give 1 month written notice to centre. Deposit will be used to offset the last month.
 
  • We will need the parent's name and mobile number.
  • We will take down your name and mobile number and accept you in our registration list.
  • We will sms you on the commencement date when the minimum class size is reached.
  • Payment and registration to be made 15 minutes before the commencement of class.
Will registration via the centre be accepted?
  • We do not accept registration via the centre as there will be no staff manning the centre.
  • For certain centres, we have a registration day. You can come down to register on the registration dates.
Do I have to make my payment upon registration?
  • Generally, no payment is needed during phone-in or email registration.
  • Parent only pay when child is enrolled during the first day of class except for Playgroup and certain enrichment classes.
What happens  during registration?
  • Registration takes place 30 minutes before the class commences.
  • Centre will call you up or sms you a few days before the class commences to inform you with more details and intended enrolment date.
Why are there no one at the centre for me to see the place and do my registration all the time unlike other tuition centres?
  • At Edufarm,  we do not hire administrative staffs to handle your registration at our counter. Registration can be done via the email or via the phone directly.
  • Other tuition centres have administration counters to serve you but you have to pay more in course fees to pay their salaries.
  • By not paying more to hire staffs to handle your registration, we pass on the savings in tuition fees to you.

How long do I have to wait before the class commences?
  • At Edufarm,  the waiting time before a class can commence  can be long or short depending on the response.
  • We normally require a minimum of 5 to 7 students to form a class
  • Waiting time can be a month or more.
