About the tour

Tucked away in the Lim Chu Kang countryside at 321 Neo Tiew Crescent, Long Kuan Hung is Singapore's last and only crocodile farm — home to thousands of crocodiles across rearing pens and breeder ponds. It is a working farm, not a zoo exhibit, which is exactly what makes the visit so memorable: you walk the same paths the farmhands do, watch a real feeding, and get closer to these ancient reptiles than almost anywhere else in Singapore.

Edufarm runs guided group visits for schools, families and community groups. The tour blends genuine thrills — feeding a crocodile yourself under close supervision — with real learning about reptile biology, conservation and Singapore's little-known crocodile-farming heritage. It's a firm favourite for school excursions, learning journeys and multi-generational family outings.

What your group will see and do.

A working farm you walk through — not a glass tank you stand behind.

🍖

Feed a crocodile — yourself

After a feeding demonstration by the farm staff, participants get to feed the crocodiles themselves under close supervision. Watching a crocodile lunge for its food from a safe vantage point is the moment everyone talks about afterwards — a genuine, controlled thrill that is completely unlike anything at a regular zoo.

🦴

The anatomy session — up close and hands-on

Using a preserved crocodile, the guide walks the group through the ancient engineering behind these reptiles — how they move, bite, float and survive largely unchanged for millions of years. An educational segment on crocodile skin and its preservation reveals the craft and heritage behind Singapore's historic crocodile-leather trade.

🥚

Rearing pens, breeder ponds & baby crocodiles

Walk through the working areas of the farm — from the rearing pens where young crocodiles grow to the breeder ponds. During hatching season, groups may be lucky enough to see baby crocodiles emerging from their eggs — a rare, unforgettable sight (seasonal, and never guaranteed).

🥣

Taste crocodile herbal soup

The tour finishes with a tasting of crocodile herbal soup — long valued in traditional Chinese wellness and a genuine local delicacy. It's the perfect talking point to round off the visit, and for many groups the most surprising item on the itinerary.

About Long Kuan Hung.

Long Kuan Hung is the last and only crocodile farm in Singapore — a working farm in the Lim Chu Kang countryside that has reared crocodiles for decades, at a time when the island once had a thriving crocodile-leather industry. Today it remains a rare living link to that heritage, and one of the few places anyone in Singapore can see crocodiles at this scale outside a zoo.

Edufarm partners with the farm to run guided group tours with feeding demonstrations, an anatomy session and herbal soup tasting — coordinating the booking, timing and logistics so your school, family or community group can simply turn up and enjoy the experience.

Farm address: 321 Neo Tiew Crescent, Singapore 718914 (Lim Chu Kang)
